The demo data set — one coherent story

Matter MAT-2026-001 "Haul Road Access and Delay Claims" on contract NRC-2026-014 (North Ridge Resources v Atlas Civil).

  • Claim CLM-001 (delay, $485k / 14 days): restricted access to the western haul-road workfront → standing time, resequencing and extra supervision.
  • Assessed entitlement supported, causation partially supported (wet-weather concurrency), quantum developing across three items (Q-1/Q-2/Q-3).
  • Notices NTC-001 (inbound claim notice, time bar preserved) and NTC-002 (outbound EOT response); evidence (site diaries, a privileged programme analysis) linked to the issues.
  • Principal responds partly admitting ($250k), a without-prejudice negotiation narrows the gap, the claim crystallises into dispute DSP-001 (mediation), a determination lands at $345k / 10 days, and the matter settles on those terms. Two tasks and a resolved time-bar exception.

  • Fields named name on Person / DisputeMatter / ClaimIssue / EvidenceItem / Dispute exist so referencing lists show a short label rather than the description paragraph (or a job title). Claim uses summary, so its title already wins.
  • The deadline engine, executive dashboard metrics and derived fields (days_to_notice, notice_overdue, recovery_variance, variance_to_claim) are Phase 2; the demo models those outcomes statically.
