The application in one paragraph
A DisputeMatter sits under a Contract and its Clauses. Within it, Claims are raised by one party against another, decomposed into ClaimIssues and driven by ClaimEvents, and preserved by ClaimNotices (inbound/outbound, with time-bar tracking). Each claim is assessed on three axes — EntitlementAssessment, CausationAssessment and a QuantumItem build-up — supported by EvidenceItems (with privilege) linked via ClaimEvidenceLink. The counterparty Responds, the parties keep NegotiationRecords (without-prejudice), and where they cannot agree the claim crystallises into a Dispute (mediation / adjudication / arbitration / litigation) resolved by a Determination and/or a Settlement. Tasks and ExceptionRecords track the deadlines and risks — all under the framework's audit trail and soft-delete.
